I grew up in rural St. Cloud. As a child, I lived with my grandfather who taught me to be a keen observer of nature and the world around me. An uncle introduced me to the magic of photography. The combination of influences later proved to be the perfect mix. Many of the images shown here are a result of summers spent in northern Minnesota. In this setting, I’m inspired to explore nature’s form, textures, and color found in ordinary places and along paths we walk each day.
Over the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to have won many awards for my photography. I’ve been featured in magazines, calendars, private collections and galleries exhibits, including The Broome St. Gallery in Soho, New York (2011), 25 PCW Gallery in New York City (2013) and 109 Gallery, New York, NY (2015) and Italian American Museum Gallery 2017, to name a few. I was also one of 125 photographers selected to be part of a juried exhibit called “Woman as Photographer: Picturing Life as a Woman” at the Minnesota Photo Center in 2011 and the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Exhibition 2017. I live in Medina, Minnesota with my husband Gary.
